AMS2 Network Maintenance 07/03

Internap has issued the following update regarding the previously announced maintenance scheduled for 06/18. Please note the new time window below.

Start Date: Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013 09:00 PM (EDT)
End Date: Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 02:00 AM (EDT)

Location: AMS2 (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

During this maintenance window, Internap engineers will be performing maintenance on the aggregate switches between the Agile routers and the top of rack switches servicing cloud and physical servers. We expect a brief outage to bare metal servers. Virtual servers ( Aegir VPS with root access only ) will be down for the majority of this maintenance window. Any running VMs ( Aegir VPS with root access only ) in our AMS2 facility will be automatically shut down at the beginning of the maintenance, and restarted at the end. We will be deploying updated configurations to provide high availability to the top of rack switches. We will be updating the firmware on the top of rack switches, as well as making physical plant changes to provide higher physical redundancy.
