SIN3 Singapore Power Maintenance 9/5

Internap has announced the following maintenance notification:

Start Date: Thursday, 9/5/2013 22:00 (SGT)
End Date: Friday, 9/6/2013 04:00 (SGT)
Location: SIN3 – Singapore

Scope of work:
Continuing to improve the quality of service in Singapore data center. Our facility partner, KDDI – Telehouse will install new cables in the main power distribution unit (PDU). During the maintenance window, there will be a sequential power interruption for both power source A, and source B.

Impact of work:
Power shutdown on internal and external devices are expected during the maintenance. Expect a service disruption within the maintenance window. Our engineers will start to shutdown devices by 22:45, 9/5/2013 (SGT), and start the managed servers back up as soon as the PDU becomes available.

Expected downtime:
Please note that while the maintenance window is 6 hours, the power maintenance itself which will be carried out by our facility contractor is estimated at 2-3 hours which starts at 23:00, 9/5/2013 (SGT).
