SJC2 Facility Maintenance 08/16

Internap has announced the following maintenance notification:

Start Date: Friday, August 16th, 2013 6:00 PM (PDT)
End Date: Friday, August 16th, 2013 10:00 PM (PDT)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (SJC2)
IMPACT: No Customer Impact

This notification is to inform you that on Friday, August 16th, the SJC2 facility will be conducting power system testing in support of our data center expansion project. This testing is being performed as an added precaution to test and verify infrastructure settings prior to the rescheduling of the June 29th maintenance which is tentatively scheduled for early September. At all times the critical IT load will be supported by UPS conditioned power and battery backup.

Portions of this maintenance will require the facility to transfer customer IT loads and/or mechanical loads to redundant systems to maintain seamless service support. The transfer of any critical power or mechanical systems to its back up or redundant source will be performed between the hours of 6PM and 10PM Pacific Time on August 16th. This work has been designed to be transparent to your operations. Site engineers will closely monitor and manage these activities with the support of our critical vendor to ensure that the maintenance is non-intrusive. No customer impact is expected.

During this period, all services will continue as normal.
