SJC2 Power Maintenance 9/21-22

Internap has announced the following maintenance notification:

Start Date: Saturday, 9/21/2013 08:00 AM PDT
End Date: Sunday 9/22/2013 06:00 PM PDT
Location: SJC2: Santa Clara, CA

On Saturday, September 21st at 8AM through Sunday, September 22nd at 6PM PDT the SJC2 facility will be conducting power system maintenance and upgrades in support of our data center expansion project. During this planned maintenance, the systems will be transferred to generator power. Upon successfully transferring, and after the appropriate validation steps, we will be moving the UPS system to maintenance bypass and be without UPS battery back up capabilities until the maintenance concludes.

This planned maintenance will continue expansion work that was previously attempted on June 29th, 2013, that caused a service impact to our valued customers’ services. Internap developed a corrective action plan as part of our Reason For Outage reporting and as a result has performed thorough procedure review and functional validation testing to ensure successful execution of this planned maintenance.

This work has been designed to be transparent to your operations. Site engineers will closely monitor and manage these activities with the support of our vendor to ensure that the maintenance is non-intrusive. No customer impact is expected.

During this period, all services will continue as normal.
