Network Issue - AMS - RESOLVED
At approximately 19:53 CET we experienced a public IP connectivity issues, and the prompt investigation onsite discovered a network switch failure. The switch was a main connection point to the public network for our equipment, so while we could still access, monitor and confirm all machines and other equipment working without issues and processing all backend tasks, including sites cron, which works even when the outside network or DNS doesn’t work, there was no access possible via public IP addresses from other networks. The network connectivity has been restored at 21:20 CET.

We are investigating possibility of a geographically distributed HA/mirrors configuration to better handle such isolated network incidents in the future.
